June 15, 2007 – Winston-Salem, NC – The law firm of Blanco Tackabery Combs & Matamoros is pleased to announce that one of its shareholders, Charles D. Luckey, has been selected to serve as a Fellow in the Department of Defense's elite CAPSTONE Program. Luckey, a Brigadier General, currently assigned as the Deputy Commanding General of the 81st Regional Readiness Command in Birmingham, Alabama, was one of a select few Army Reserve General Officers selected by the Chairman, Joint Chiefs-of-Staff, to serve in the program this summer. The CAPSTONE Program is designed to expose a small cohort of senior military leaders to a wide variety of Joint and Inter-Agency relationships both within the Continental United States, and around the globe. Each CAPSTONE Fellow combines several weeks of travel to various US-based Joint Military Commands and other Government agencies, with two weeks of travel to areas of interests outside of North America.
