Luckey, has been selected to serve as the Commanding General of the U.S. Army's 78th Division (Training Support), headquartered in Edison, New Jersey. Luckey, a Brigadier General in the Army Reserve, will oversee the 78th Division's mission to execute major training exercises at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin and Fort Dix, New Jersey for units deploying into combat. In civilian life, Luckey practices with the firm's Litigation Practice Group in both its Lake Norman and Winston-Salem offices. Blanco Tackabery is a full service North Carolina law firm.
