Blanco Tackabery Combs & Matamoros, P.A. warmly welcomes the five law students joining the Firm for its 2007 Summer Associate Program.
Matthew Coury arrived on May 7th and will be with the Firm through June 27th. Matthew is a first year student at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Law, and he is also in the M.B.A. program at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC. He received his B.A. in History from Georgetown University. Prior to law school, Matthew volunteered for the United States Peace Corps, where he taught English and Western culture in China.
Lauren Trask arrived on May 14th and will be with the Firm through June 22nd. Lauren is a second-year student at Wake Forest School of Law. She received her B.S. in Marketing from Boston College.
Alexander "Z" Stubbs arrived on May 21st and will be with the Firm through July 6th. Alexander is a first year student at The University of Miami School of Law. He received his Masters in Business from Wake Forest University and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Prior to going to law school he was an analyst with a management consulting company in Alexandria, Virginia.
Jennifer Kerrigan will arrive on July 2nd and will be with the Firm through August 10th. Jennifer is a second-year student at Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. She received her B.S. in Business from Cornell University. Prior to coming to law school, Jennifer worked as legal assistant.
Dustin Greene will arrive on July 9th and will be with the Firm through August 17th. Dustin is a second year student at Wake Forest School of Law. He received his B.S. in Political Science from Appalachian State University. Prior to law school, Dustin was in the U.S. Army, 3rd Ranger Battalion. Dustin is a native of Morganton, North Carolina, and was a summer associate with the Firm in 2006.
