Simmons, of the law firm of Blanco Tackabery Combs & Matamoros, P.A., is the firm's sixth paralegal to meet the qualifications to become a North Carolina Certified Paralegal. Katie, who has been with the firm since 2006, works as a paralegal in the firm's litigation group, assisting attorneys Peter J. Juran and Kevin J. Morris. She has completed two years of the Paralegal Technology Program at Guilford Technical Community College and has served as College/School Relations Chair for the Guilford Paralegal Association for 2006-2007.
