Shareholders Neal E. Tackabery, Gene B. Tarr, and Peter J. Juran have been elected to Business North Carolina Magazine's Legal Elite.  Ballots were sent to more than 17,000 North Carolina attorneys, requesting each to vote for the best practitioners in their fields.  Those receiving the most votes comprised the Legal Elite (numbering fewer than 600), and were featured in the January 2007 issue.  

Neal, head of the Firm's Estate Planning and Administration group, concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning and administration and employee benefits.  Gene, head of the Firm's Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Collections group, concentrates his practice in commercial bankruptcy, workout, and collection matters.  Peter, a partner in the Firm's Litigation Group, handles all manner of civil litigation, both trial and appellate, and is also actively involved in the Firm's Intellectual Property Section.
