George began his career with Blanco Tackabery in 1989, working extensively in commercial finance, business acquisitions, and real estate acquisition, leasing, and lending. In connection with these transactions, he regularly represents both sellers and purchasers in business acquisitions and commercial real estate acquisitions, along with both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions. He also represents both borrowers and lenders in commercial real estate loans and asset based financing. Along with Gene Tarr, he was lead counsel for the Official Unsecured Creditors Committee of certain subsidiaries of Integrated Health Services, Inc., a publicly owned healthcare company, in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases in Delaware.
