Jeanette joined the firm as an associate in 2004. Her practice is concentrated in commercial bankruptcy, workouts, preference defense and collection matters. Jeanette's practice includes representation of banks, trade vendors, reclamation creditors, preference defendants, bankruptcy trustees, lessors and lessees. She also represents Debtors-in-Possession and partners and shareholders of Debtors-in-Possession. Jeanette has represented clients in bankruptcy cases in Georgia as well as every federal district of North Carolina.

She received her B.B.A. from the College of William and Mary. Jeanette received her juris doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she served as the Dedicated Issue Editor for the Wake Forest Law Review and was a member of the Honor Council. Following her graduation from Wake Forest, Jeanette completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable William L. Stocks, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of North Carolina.

Jeanette is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the North Carolina Bar Association (Member, Bankruptcy Section Council - 2009-2012; Member, Bankruptcy Section Disclosure Statement Committee - 2009-2010; Member, Bankruptcy Section Business Bankruptcy Committee - 2005-2008; Member, Business Section), the Risk Management Association, the Turnaround Management Association and the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation. She has been a presenter for CLE programs sponsored by the North Carolina Bar Association, and was also a Chapter Editor for the North Carolina Bankruptcy Practice Manual, Sixth Edition (2006).
