Our firm employs attorneys with experience in all areas of state and federal taxation. We work closely with our clients, whether individuals, corporations or partnerships, to provide tax planning and advice in structuring transactions and implementing decisions having tax consequences, including syndications, business acquisitions, mergers, liquidations, real estate matters, tax deferred exchanges, qualified retirement plans, trusts and sales and use tax matters. We represent clients with respect to all tax issues before the IRS, the North Carolina Department of Revenue and in state and federal courts by protesting tax assessments, obtaining rulings, negotiating settlements and conducting litigation.
