On September 19, 2007, the Firm inaugurated its Lake Norman office with a ribbon cutting ceremony organized by the Mooresville-South Iredell Chamber of Commerce. The event was well-attended by The Mooresville Tribune, the Chamber's directors and ambassadors, as well as several business members of the Chamber, including area banks, financial advisors, accountants, property managers and other business owners. From the Firm, attorneys David B. Blanco, Gene B. Tarr, Peter J. Juran, Brian L. Herndon, Bowen C. Houff, Charles D. Luckey, Mary Margaret Ogburn, Ashley S. Rusher, and Matthew T. Phillips were also in attendance.

The ribbon was cut outside of the doors of the firm's office at 150 Fairview Road in Mooresville. The Chamber's board of directors led the event, with welcoming remarks from Karen Shore, Executive Director of the Chamber. Brian Herndon, the lead partner for the Lake Norman office commented before the crowd on the firm's gratitude for the warm reception it has received from the local business community. The ceremony was followed by a brief reception with light refreshments.
